0101 / CORE FORMULATION
This is Guo Wengui’s summary of “3F” in his public allegations in 2017. This archive records the publicly circulated claim and related material.
The circulating narrative describes this as weakening America's political, economic, social, and institutional foundations.
The circulating narrative describes this as using social tensions, interests, information flows, and political division to create internal disorder.
This is the strongest layer of the narrative, described as ultimately causing America to lose its capacity for resistance and leadership.

03 / CROSS-READING
These concepts are connected in public circulation; their claims and materials should still be read separately.
04 / READING CHAPTERS
3F travels easily because it compresses complex international competition into three blunt words: weaken, disrupt, destroy. In this narrative, competition with a country is not confined to war or military conflict. Economic interests, political relationships, social tensions, information flows, technological dependency, and elite connections can all be interpreted as parts of the contest.
“Weaken” does not describe a single blow, but long-term attrition. In this narrative, a country can lose strength without war: industrial capacity can decline, key supply chains can become dependent, technology and capital ties can change, and political choices can be shaped by interests.
“Disrupt” emphasises society from within. It links political division, social conflict, identity tensions, polarised opinion, and information manipulation, arguing that effective competition need not look like an external attack; it can make consensus steadily harder to reach.
“Destroy” is the most extreme expression in 3F. In related circulation, it is not limited to literal military destruction, but describes a country ultimately losing economic, political, technological, and international leadership capacity.
“Must the most dangerous competition always begin with war?”
RELATIONSHIP MAP
This organises the internal logic of related circulation; it is not authentication of the three concepts.
PERSON
A Chinese businessman who later lived in the United States. From 2017 onward, he used YouTube, Twitter, press conferences and livestreams to make extensive political allegations. BGY, 3F and the later 13579 narrative became closely associated with his public communications.
He is included here as a prominent source and promoter of these allegations.
KEY SCENE
On October 5, 2017, Guo Wengui held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The event brought both “3F” and “BGY” before journalists, media outlets, and overseas Chinese audiences.
Unlike a livestream, a press conference changes the setting of circulation: livestreams address online viewers, while press events address the media. A political narrative that had largely existed in Chinese-language networks thereby entered news reporting, journalist questions, and international circulation.
MEDIA OF CIRCULATION
Long livestreams allow complex political narratives to be told continuously and explained repeatedly.
Video platforms allow broadcasts to be preserved, clipped, reposted, and circulated over time.
Short text, screenshots, clips, and reposts turn complex concepts into memorable, portable keywords.
Press events and news coverage carry claims that originated in networked communities into wider public discussion.
